Top Level Construction has recently completed the construction of a 50m2 basement beneath an existing office and apartment complex in Central London. Works at the Holywell Row site included the construction of roadside hoarding and storage area, trial holes to determine existing services and foundations, archaeology excavation assistance, demolition and strip out, and bulk excavation and disposal. Top Level also carried out structural concrete underpinning with waterproof concrete, party wall monitoring and reporting, structural steel work including ring beam, temporary works (installation of waler ring beam and needle supports), construction of reinforced concrete basement walls and slab, and the installation of a cavity membrane waterproofing system.
